Startup T-Shirt Quilt

If you’ve spent any time in the startup scene in the early 2010s, you know that t-shirts were treated like currency. After her time attending Techstars in 2011, Char accrued more t-shirts than she could reasonably wear, so she decided to turn them into a quilt. She had no prior experience with sewing, but she bought some fabric, borrowed a sewing machine, and made a blanket that the lucky gift recipient still uses today.

35 t-shirt logos were cut out and sewn to heavy black fabric panels to provide support and add the borders. Those panels were sewn together, and then sewn to a grey fleece backing.
