SocialEngine

Originally spun out of Webligo in 2006, SocialEngine is a white-label social networking platform that provides schools, non-profits, and individuals the ability to create a branded social network.

In collaboration with her co-founder Alex, Char built all the early versions of the software, and eventually managed a team of 10 engineers. SocialEngine was bootstrapped to profitability, before going through the tech accelerator Techstars Boulder in 2011. SocialEngine was finally acquired by digital agency Room 214 in 2013.
